2025 July - November Reading List

“My alma mater was books, a good library.... I could spend the rest of my life reading, just satisfying my curiosity.”

- Malcolm X

2025 has been a transformative year for Harare Book Club with the expansion of our recently launched community library in collaboration with the Friendship Bench Hub!

The second half of the year offers an eclectic range of books from new releases. We are kicking off July with

July - Dream Count, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie

August - Who Will Bury You, Chido Muchemwa

September - A History of Burning, Janika Oza

October - Death of The Author, Nnedi Okorafor

November - Why Do You Dance When You Walk?, Abdourahman A. Waberi
